So, "natural intelligence" doesn't really make any sense, because it's either redundant or not, and if it's not, then I don't know what to call a planet with self-organizational entities that tend to the wellness of the planet other than "intelligent." So is this really just an expression of the fact that humans still struggle to accept the fact that we are all operating in concert with a planetary intelligence, or what? And even if you could prove that the planet has some sort of collective conscience, to whom would you prove it, and why would you have to bother? This whole thing leaves me squidgy.
